Minneapolis Pad Printing For Plastic Fabricators
If you pay attention, you’ll notice that plastic shows up almost everywhere. We wear it as clothing and camp inside of it. We use it in medical implants and bicycles, computer keyboards, and insulation. From safety to energy efficiency and play, consumers rely on plastic in products too manifold to list. Plastic fabricators produce products for nearly as many applications!

Your schedule and your goals matter to us. For small and large scale projects alike, UniversalPromo applies the same expertise and care to every printing project. Our time-tested processes involve developing a clear plan that we evaluate continually to ensure your project is completed quickly, accurately, and consistently. The strength of our business is the trust we have built with our customers to get the job done right.
UniversalPromo’s in-house team of print engineers creates custom, semi-automated processes resulting in clean, clear designs on your plastic products. There are two printing methods in which UniversalPromo specializes: hot stamping and pad printing.
Hot stamping is a heat transfer printing process in which your design is imprinted upon a rubber or metal die. A ribbon of foil is placed between the heated die and the substrate of your product. When the die stamps the foil against your product’s substrate, the design transfers in the foil. What results is a crisp, bright and long-lasting impression. As one of the Midwest’s top distributors of quality foils and dies, UniversalPromo offers our customers a wide selection of foils in various colors and finishes.
Pad printing is an indirect offset printing process in which your design is transferred in ink from a silicone pad to the substrate of your product. Pad printing is the preferred process for transferring two-dimensional graphics onto three-dimensional surfaces. At UniversalPromo, we use Class VI Medical Grade Inks for our pad printing projects. Class VI Medical Grade Inks pass USP standards for safe use in a variety of applications, including medical implant devices. These inks are fast-drying and resist sterilization methods including both water and chemical.
